When the Nintendo Wii first came out, I fuckin’ loved it.  But once developers that didn’t rhyme with Wintendo started to run for the hills of X-Box and Playstation, the lack of games that took advantage of the motion controls really started to suffer.  C’est la vie, right?  It’s too bad.  I mean, don’t get me wrong, Nintendo is NOT going anywhere.  They’re a more than 100 year old company that video game analysts have been predicting the extinction of for more than 15 years.  They’ll be just fine.  The Wii is just an example of what happens when game developers play it safe and decide not to whole-heartedly support an innovative technology.
